Dr. Pamela Theofilopoulos
Dr. Pamela Theofilopoulos received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2016 from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Upon graduation, she was also awarded the Pioneer Instruments Primary Care Award. After graduation, Dr. Theofilopoulos moved back to Toronto, where she began practicing optometry in a private practice setting.
Dr. Theofilopoulos performs comprehensive eye examinations and fits specialty contact lenses for individuals with eye conditions such as keratoconus and high prescriptions, and is also fluent in Greek!
Dr. Theofilopoulos’ unique experience growing up in a family-run restaurant has taught her the importance of listening to and understanding individuals’ needs. She carries this trait with her into her work today. Dr. Theofilopoulos cares for her community and is thrilled to continue the tradition of providing the Danforth area with quality eye care.
Dr. Ema Hazra
Dr. Ema Hazra is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, completing her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, followed by her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018. She has been happily practicing in her hometown of Toronto ever since.
During her time at Waterloo, Dr. Hazra completed an externship in ocular disease and therapeutics at the Eye Associates of Pinellas in Florida alongside leading ophthalmologists, specializing in the treatment and management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and other retinal diseases. She has conducted vision screenings for athletes with Special Olympics Ontario, and served as a CNIB Vision Mate ambassador.
Dr. Hazra is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists, Ontario Association of Optometrists, and College of Optometrists of Ontario. Her clinical interests include myopia control, specialty contact lenses, dry eye disease, and refractive surgery.
